This outstanding regionalist is the Chief Executive Officer of the Cave Hill School of Business/The University of the West Indies, a position she has held for the past 15 years. Dr. Comma is a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington D.C. and the University of the Virgin Islands. Her area of expertise is Organisational Development and her extensive experience and practical insights have guided leaders of companies mainly in Barbados and the OECS.
Among her many achievements, is the successful business turnaround of the Cave Hill School of Business/University of the West Indies to ensure that it achieved programme relevance and financial sustainability.
Jeannine has experience with private sector companies and public sector agencies in Strategic Planning, Strategy Formulation, Corporate Governance and Human Resource Development. Additionally, much of her work centers on Leadership and Transformation Management. She has facilitated many workshops for Boards of Directors and Executive Leadership retreats.
She has presented papers at conferences and conducted workshops in Singapore, Delhi, Morocco, South Africa, Ghana, Vancouver and the Caribbean. She is a certified Executive Coach and a certified facilitator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Emotional Intelligence Quotient – EQi 2.0.
She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Sagicor Financial Corporation, Sagicor Life Inc., the National Initiative for Service Excellence, the Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. and the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation.
