As Academic Programme Director of The Cave Hill School of Business Inc. The University of the West Indies (CHSB) Dr. Wallace is responsible for the programme design and development of all of CHSB’s academic programmes. She has overall responsibility for delivery of the academic programmes and for all programme administration. Having joined the then CMD in 1991, she was instrumental in the creation of the structure that currently exists and governs the academic programmes. Dr. Wallace spearheaded the design and implementation of the Online and Distance Learning (ODL) programme currently used by the CHSB and successfully migrated all of CHSB’s academic programmes to an ODL format.
Starting her career in administration in southern Africa, Dr. Wallace has vast experience in organizational behaviour and business administration. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, a Master of Arts Degree in Online and Distance Education from the Open University of the United Kingdom, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of the West Indies, and an Advanced Diploma in Administration from the Institute of Administrative Management in Kent, UK. Dr. Wallace is the winner of the University of Bath’s Richard and Shirley Mawditt Prize for outstanding performance.
In addition to her responsibility for academic programmes, Dr. Wallace is engaged in consulting activities for the CHSB. She teaches Organizational Behaviour and Management in CHSB’s Diploma programme and facilitates Group Dynamics and Corporate Communication in the MBA programme. Her area of expertise includes Academic Research, Presentation Skills and Business Writing. Dr. Wallace is an academic case-writer and a certified online instructor. She is also a convener for CXC
